Volunteering is a subculture and part of identity.

When we consciously choose to volunteer, we open doors to new opportunities and experiences. We become part of a community where everyone contributes their efforts and talents for the benefit of others.

Volunteering allows us to broaden our horizons, get acquainted with different cultures, and find new friends.

Volunteer work also promotes personal growth. We develop skills of empathy, patience, and communication. Volunteering helps us better understand ourselves and our values, as well as learn to manage time and energy.

But for volunteering to come from a ‘healthy part,’ it’s important to remember self-respect and boundaries. Don’t forget about your own needs and capabilities. Don’t take on projects that contradict your values or cause stress. Choose what is truly close and interesting. Plan your time and resources.

Volunteering is not only about helping others but also about caring for yourself.

You also deserve support and attention. Don’t hesitate to seek help from a psychologist or other specialists if you feel you need support.

Let’s make the world a better place together!

Choose volunteering consciously.
